End of an Era

We have waved goodbye to the last of our secondary students, as they leave for other schools in 2018. We celebrated their time with us at our Awards Gala on Tuesday December 5th. Students were presented with awards, trophies and medallions to acknowledge the contribution that each student has made, as well as to celebrate the hard work that they each put into their education this year.

Rafl Alaathamy: Overall academic achievement 1st place (Year 7), Arabic. Most Focused.
Mohammad Alfraihi: Best Behaved. Quietest Achiever.
Zainab Alnaseri: Most Inquisitive. Best Storyteller.
Mariam Alramahi: Most Resilient. Giggliest Student.
Nooran Al-Qarakchy: 1st Overall Academic Achievement (Year 8). Quick Wit.
Ashlee Kirkpatrick: Sports. Cheekiest.
Hajer Mohammed: Compassionate. Friend to Everyone.
Zachariah Uguz: Most Improved. Art. Most Drawings in a School Book.

I can’t begin to express how proud I am of these students, and how much I will miss their smiling faces in my classroom every day. I wish them the best of luck, and hope that they have every success at their new schools.
